Natasha urges unity, reflection in Eid message

The senator representing Kogi Central, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has called on residents of her constituency to embrace peace, unity and reflection as Muslims celebrate Eid-el-Fitr.

In her Sallah message, she described the festival as a significant spiritual moment rooted in sacrifice, devotion and obedience to Allah. She encouraged Muslims to carry forward the lessons of Ramadan beyond the fasting period.

Akpoti-Uduaghan said the occasion offers a chance to strengthen communal bonds and promote peaceful coexistence, urging her constituents to remain committed to values that foster development.

“Eid Mubarak to the great people of Kogi Central. May this blessed season strengthen our unity, deepen our faith, and bring peace and prosperity to every home,” she said.

She emphasised that patience, generosity and selflessness are essential for building a stable and progressive society, adding that such virtues should guide daily interactions.

The lawmaker also appealed for prayers towards sustained peace and growth in both Kogi State and the country, stressing that unity is vital for national advancement.

“The spirit of sacrifice and compassion demonstrated during Ramadan should guide our daily interactions and strengthen our collective resolve to build a more peaceful and prosperous Kogi Central,” she added.
