‘I left UK for him, he dumped me’- Lady accuses Segun Johnson of betrayal after 13-year relationship

A woman claiming to be the ex-girlfriend of popular hypeman and singer, Segun Johnson, has gone public with allegations of betrayal, detailing how their 13-year relationship allegedly ended abruptly.

In a viral video circulating online, the woman recounted how their long-term relationship, marked by several “ups and downs,” appeared to take a hopeful turn when they reunited in the United Kingdom.

According to her, Johnson persuaded her to return to Nigeria, assuring her of support and commitment.

“I thought him telling me to come back home meant he wanted to settle down with me,” she said.

She admitted she initially resisted the idea, stating that she preferred to remain in the UK to build financial stability and avoid dependence.

“I was not ready to come back. I wanted to save more money. I didn’t want to depend on anybody,” she added.

However, she said she eventually gave in and relocated to Lagos, leaving behind the life she had established abroad.

The situation, she claimed, took a dramatic turn after she moved into his residence.

She alleged that suspicion arose when Segun Johnson travelled to the UK and returned with a money-counting machine, prompting her to check his phone.

“I saw that it was a lady that gave him the machine. He has been with this lady since last year,” she alleged.

According to her, efforts to get clarity from him proved unsuccessful.

She further claimed that he later sent her a voice note saying, “Now is the time,” effectively ending their relationship.

Describing the experience as one of “deceit and betrayal,” the woman said she was left heartbroken after giving up her life in the UK based on his assurances.
