The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM) has expressed sadness over the death of a Nigerian woman and her two children in a road accident in Texas, United States.

The chairman of NiDCOM, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, sent a condolence message to the family through a statement released by the commission.

The victims were identified as a Nigerian woman living in the U.S., Nihinlolawa Agboro, and her two children, Temiloluwa and Isaac. They died in the accident, which happened on Sunday in Fort Bend County.

Reports say the crash occurred around 9:30 a.m. on a highway between Harlem Road and Pitts Road. A truck lost control, crossed into another lane, and hit an SUV carrying five people. The crash caused several deaths and injuries.

Reacting to the incident, Dabiri-Erewa described it as very painful and heartbreaking. She prayed for the souls of the victims and asked God to comfort their family. She also wished those who were injured a quick recovery.
