‘Nigeria has failed the male child,’ Tacha blows hot over Ozoro festival

Nigerian media personality Tacha, has reacted to the viral disturbing videos of assault on women in Ozoro, Delta State. The reality TV star, on her X handle claimed that cases like these happen because the society failed to train the male child.

Tacha revealed that she has been working towards organising a protest with other notable individuals to ensure that justice is served.

”This morning! I have cried because of the videos I’ve seen.. I’ve gone as far as reaching out to Kate Henshaw, Iyabo Ojo And Real warri pikin to see how we can get ACTIVE and protest about this!. It’s enough that society is highly misogynistic and we practice toxic patriarchy in this country. The society is 95% controlled by men. Is that not enough power? You control almost everything in this country. Is that not enough power for the Nigerian man? You still want to have power over our BODIES??,” she wrote,

Tacha expressed her disbelief and outrage over the incident, stating that the society is responsible for such behaviours exhibited by men.

”Does that not show you how Nigerian society has TREMENDOUSLY failed in raising the male child??,” she asked.
