“Dubai no longer safe,” Bolanle Olukanni cries out

Nigerian media personality Bolanle Olukanni has stirred conversations online after stating that Dubai may no longer be an appealing travel destination.

Her comment follows recent tensions in the Middle East, particularly the conflict involving Iran, Israel, and the United States, which reportedly led to retaliatory missile and drone attacks affecting parts of Dubai.

Dubai, long regarded as a top global tourist hotspot, has attracted millions of visitors over the years due to its luxury lifestyle, architecture, and entertainment offerings. However, recent security concerns have raised questions about its safety for travelers.

Reports indicate that key locations, including the Dubai International Airport, were affected during the attacks, alongside aircraft such as an Emirates Airbus A380 and a Saudia Airbus A321, as well as facilities on the Palm Jumeirah.

Reacting to the development in a video shared online, Olukanni suggested that the incidents could impact Dubai’s reputation as a preferred holiday destination, noting that tourists may begin to reconsider their travel choices.
