Ireti Doyle finally speaks about her divorce

Nollywood veteran, Ireti Doyle, has finally spoken up regarding her divorce from her ex-husband, Patrick Doyle. The actress, while speaking with Morayo Brown, revealed that ending her marriage was painful.

Ireti, who was speaking up for the first time since her divorce in 2023, explained that she decided to remain silent on the matter because her private life is not the public’s business.

“First of all you didn’t hear anything because it is none of your business. Two people come together to get married, there’s a celebration. Sadly, unfortunately something went wrong and you could no longer continue the life journey together. The only people you owe explanation to at all, are those family and friends that gathered on day one. You see this larger audience that you are performing for, they do not care. God forbid because I will never knowingly give myself up as a click bait. The end of any relationship talks less of long time marriage is painful,” she said.
