2027: ‘I’m supporting President Tinubu,’ Ubi Franklin declares

Nigerian music executive Ubi Franklin has openly declared his support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, affirming his political stance in a post shared on X on Friday, March 27.

“Dear friends, it’s your constitutional right to support whoever you choose. I’m supporting Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for President,” Franklin wrote.

Beyond the presidential endorsement, Franklin also threw his weight behind key political figures in Cross River State, including Governor Bassey Otu.

He further backed Benedict Ayade for Cross River North Senatorial District, Asuquo Ekpenyong for Cross River South, and Eteng Jones Williams.

The declaration came shortly after Franklin shared images from a political meeting held at the “Asiwaju Command Center,” where he was seen alongside several associates, including Seyi Tinubu.
