Maduka Okoye has been ruled out of the Super Eagles’ international friendly against Jordan after picking up an injury in training.
The team’s media officer confirmed that the goalkeeper suffered a thigh knock and will no longer be available for selection. He is expected to return to his Italian club, Udinese, for further treatment.

Following his withdrawal, Francis Uzoho is set to take over goalkeeping duties for the encounter. Adebayo Adeleye remains the other goalkeeper in the squad.
The Super Eagles will face Jordan’s Al-Nashama in an international friendly scheduled to take place in Antalya, Turkey, on Tuesday night.
