Nigeria is increasing efforts to convince Michael Kayode to play for the Super Eagles.
Reports say officials from the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) are planning to meet with the Brentford FC defender. This comes after getting support from the Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle.
Kayode has been performing well in the Premier League, and Nigeria wants to act quickly before Italy calls him up to their senior team.
The NFF plans to explain to him how he can become part of the Super Eagles squad.
