Leaked Videos: Nollywood actress Damilola Oni speaks out

Nollywood actress Damilola Oni has opened up on the online harassment and personal attacks she endures, including unsolicited explicit messages and nude photos from men.

Speaking in an interview on Oyinmomo TV, the actress revealed that her Instagram inbox is frequently flooded with inappropriate content.

“Early in the morning, when I open my Instagram, men will send me their manhood, saying I am everything you need, baby. All sorts of explicit images are in my DM. Some even say they watched me on TV this morning and used me to satisfy their urges,” Oni said.

She also recounted professional challenges in Nollywood, alleging that a senior colleague once refused to work with her.

The incident occurred when she was scheduled for a lead role but was left unattended for hours during filming. Later, she was reassigned to a minor role because the colleague issued an ultimatum to the producer.

Despite the setback, Oni said she refused to quit. “I was distraught and pained, but I thought leaving would mean I allowed the person to crush me. I didn’t want that. The sky is big enough for everyone to fly,” she said, emphasising her determination to succeed in the industry.
