Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo moved closer to an unprecedented milestone after scoring his 967th career goal in Al Nassr’s emphatic 5–2 victory over Al-Najma in the Saudi Pro League.

Ronaldo, returning from a month-long injury layoff, delivered a decisive performance, scoring twice in the second half to underline his enduring influence at the highest level.

The veteran forward calmly converted a penalty to restore his side’s lead before adding a second goal to take his career tally to 967, bringing him within touching distance of the historic 1,000-goal mark.
