Nigerian billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s work ethics, saying it gives hope for new Nigeria.
Otedola said this after he visited President Tinubu alongside his billionaire friend, Alhaji Aliko Dangote in Lagos on Sunday.
The President has been in Lagos for the Easter holiday.
The Chairman of First Bank plc said he and Dangote discussed the economy and how Nigeria can benefit from his ongoing reforms with the President during the visit.
He also noted that the President was working even on Easter Sunday, a development he said gives him hope for Nigeria.
Otedola said, “Yesterday, I spent Easter Sunday with our dear President, Bola Tinubu, and my bestie Aliko Dangote. We discussed the economy and how Nigerians can benefit from the reforms.
“On a day of resurrection and renewal, Mr President was still working. That kind of commitment gives you hope for Nigeria.”
Otedola had consistently commended Tinubu for what he what he described as bold and necessary economic reforms aimed at stabilizing the country and restoring investor confidence. Otedola praised President Bola Tinubu for his leadership and economic reforms.
According to him, Tinubu has shown “remarkable” courage and clarity in steering “our country through difficult but necessary reforms”.
The businessman said the President’s bold sense of direction, guided by “a deep understanding of our economy”, has created the foundation for policies that are now globally recognised.
“I have seen many administrations, but his conviction at this critical time deserves commendation,” he said.
