Lokpobiri stated this while welcoming the President to the state for the commissioning of key infrastructure projects, describing the visit as a reflection of the Federal Government’s commitment to inclusive development and grassroots impact.

He noted that the Renewed Hope reforms have significantly strengthened the financial capacity of states, enabling them to undertake strategic projects that stimulate economic growth, create jobs and improve the standard of living of citizens.

According to the minister, Bayelsa has leveraged these reforms to advance critical infrastructure and development initiatives across the state.

“Bayelsa State has greatly benefited from these bold reforms, which continue to enhance its ability to deliver impactful projects that touch the lives of the people,” he said.

Lokpobiri further commended Tinubu’s leadership, stressing that the administration’s policy direction has created a more enabling environment for states to thrive.

He added that the people of Bayelsa would reciprocate the Federal Government’s support with overwhelming backing for the President in the 2027 general elections.

The minister also described the commissioning of landmark projects during the visit as a testament to the synergy between the Federal Government and sub-national authorities in driving sustainable development.
