The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has removed 23 Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres from its list after technical problems were recorded during the 2026 mock UTME.

The affected centres are located across 11 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The states include Abia, Anambra, Bayelsa, Delta, Edo, Lagos, Ogun, Osun, Oyo and Plateau.

In Abia State, the only affected centre is Micben ICT Hall at Seat of Wisdom Academy in Ukwa West.

Anambra State has two centres on the list: Bishop Crowther Seminary CBT Centre in Awka and The Oracle Lens in Nnokwa.

In Bayelsa, Derby’s Young ICT Centre in Yenagoa was affected.

Delta State has four affected centres, including Avid ICT Solutions in Asaba, Brightfield School CBT Centre in Ekpan, and Conarina Maritime Academy in Abraka.

Edo State recorded two centres: Daniet Global Resources and Moses and Grace College CBT Centre, both in Benin City.

In the FCT, the affected centres are De-Lite CBT Centre in Maitama and Zulqud Consult Ltd in Lugbe.

Lagos State has the highest number, with five centres affected. These include Florin High School in Ejigbo, Folbob CBT Centre in Ibeju-Lekki, Great Kezino College and Obans CBT Centre in Ikorodu, and Teesas Learning Centre along Lekki Expressway.

Ogun State has two centres on the list: Braingate Model Schools in Ijoko and Greenhills Academy on Itele Road.

In Osun State, only Oduduwa University CBT Centre in Ipetumodu was affected.

Oyo State has three centres: Lasting Glory Schools in Ibadan, Nesam International School in Apata, and SAF Polytechnic in Iseyin.

Plateau State has one affected centre, Rabjib Computer Academy in Jos.

JAMB said the decision was made after reviewing the mock exam. The board found that these centres did not meet the required technical and operational standards.

It added that only centres that meet its standards will be allowed to conduct the main UTME to ensure a smooth and credible examination.
