Lagos State Deputy Governor, Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, has called on Nigerians to actively promote the achievements of President Bola Tinubu, urging citizens to take the message beyond their immediate circles into wider communities.

Hamzat made the call at the South-West Zonal Walk organised by the ‘Relax Tinubu is Fixing Nigeria (RTIFN)’ group at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Lagos, where he stressed the need for deliberate public enlightenment on government policies and reforms.

He said many Nigerians remain unaware of ongoing initiatives aimed at repositioning the country, urging citizens to act as advocates by sharing verified information about the administration’s programmes.

The Deputy Governor noted that economic stability remains central to national development, adding that the President’s policies are focused on ensuring financial sustainability and long-term growth.

According to him, the administration has laid a foundation for a stable economy, improved investor confidence and a more predictable foreign exchange environment, though the benefits may take time to fully materialise.

Hamzat also cited the student loan programme as a key intervention, noting that millions of Nigerian students have already benefited, contributing to human capital development.

In his remarks, Lagos APC Chairman, Cornelius Ojelabi, urged Nigerians to support the President’s re-election bid, citing progress recorded across sectors.

Similarly, Chairman of Conference 57, Sesan Olowa, described Tinubu’s leadership as transformative, noting efforts to stabilise the economy, improve security and drive infrastructure development.

Also speaking, Director-General of RTIFN, Ahmed Bala, said the group is committed to bridging information gaps and promoting accurate understanding of government policies through public engagement and enlightenment initiatives.
