Arsenal started 2026 strongly and were competing for four trophies. However, their form has dropped in recent weeks. They lost 2-1 to Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final and were also knocked out of the FA Cup by Southampton.
In the Premier League, Arsenal missed a chance to go 12 points clear at the top after losing 2-1 at home to Bournemouth. Many fans left the stadium early during that match, showing their frustration.
The club’s management is now worried about the team’s poor performance. They believe a change of manager may be needed if Arsenal fails to win any trophies this season.
Fabregas, who is currently coaching Como and doing well, is seen as a strong candidate to take over if Arteta leaves.
