Nigerian singer Charles Chibueze Chukwu, popularly known by his stage name Crayon, has opened up about his past struggle with mental health.
While speaking during a livestream with Nigerian streamer and content creator, Carter Efe, the artist revealed that he had mental health issues in 2022 due to pressure from family and the music industry.
Crayon noted that he was trying to meet up with expectations and demands, as well as growing in the music industry.
“In 2022, I had mental health issues from all sort of stress; family, industry, trying to be number one stress. I was hospitalised for a long therapy session, then I came out and dropped Labalaba and Overloading,” he stated.
