Dr Abdul-Azeez Adediran, Lead Visioner of Lagos4Lagos Movement has continued consultations ahead of the Lagos APC governorship primaries.

This was in spite of the report that Obafemi Hamzat, the incumbent deputy governor of Lagos State has been endorsed as the candidate of APC for the Lagos 2027 governorship election.

He noted the consultations marked a significant step to consolidate support ahead of the governorship primaries.

Adediran, popularly known as Jandor visited the Tajudeen Olusi-led Governance Advisory Council (GAC) as part of the consultations ahead of the governorship primary, according to a statement by his media aide, Mr Gbenga Ogunleye.

During the exercise, Adediran, popularly called Jandor, met the GAC chairman and other prominent leaders.

Other attendees included Mr James Odumbaku, APC chieftain, Mr Adeyemi Ikuforiji, a former Lagos Assembly Speaker, and Alhaja Monsuru Owolabi Batola, known as ‘Alao Seniyan’.

Adediran said the consultations were part of a deliberate framework to engage key stakeholders across all APC levels.

“We are committed to ensuring that no voice is left unheard as we prepare for the future of Lagos State.

“Our approach is both bottom-top and top-bottom, reflecting our belief that leadership must be built on consensus across grassroots supporters and party leadership.

“This is the only way to guarantee sustainable governance and unity within the APC.

“I have immense respect for the institutional wisdom and stabilising role of the Governance Advisory Council.

“Their guidance remains invaluable in fostering continuity, cohesion, and progressive governance in Lagos State,” he said.

He reaffirmed his loyalty to the APC and readiness to collaborate with party leaders across the state.

“I remain unwavering in my loyalty to our great party and committed to working with all stakeholders.

“Together, we will continue to build a stronger and more united APC in Lagos,” he said.

He said leaders across 377 wards and 13,326 polling units had been directed to begin engagements to mobilise support.

“This is a people-driven project, and we are determined to deepen trust, build alignment, and reinforce unity,” he said.
