Nollywood actress Laide Bakare has revealed plans to walk down the aisle again, describing her upcoming wedding as her “first official” marriage despite two previous unions.
The 45-year-old made this known in a recent interview with Mr LilGaGa, saying preparations for the ceremony are already in motion.
“I will soon be getting married, officially, for the first time ever,” she said.
The actress, however, kept details of her fiancé and the wedding date under wraps.
In November 2023, Bakare sparked engagement rumours after sharing a proposal video that drew congratulatory messages from fans. She later clarified that the clip was from a movie scene featuring her co-star in Oko Laide.
Bakare was previously married to Olumide Okunfulure, a US-based businessman from Ondo State. Their union produced a daughter, Simi, before it ended.
She also has two sons with her second husband, Mutairu Orilowo, though details surrounding their separation remain largely private.
The actress began her career in 1999 with the film Adeyemi and has since appeared in numerous Nollywood productions, earning recognition for her performances.
