Gunmen kill driver, abduct passengers in Ore–Benin expressway fresh attack

Suspected gunmen have attacked a commercial bus along the Ore–Benin expressway, killing the driver and abducting several passengers in a fresh incident highlighting insecurity on Nigeria’s highways.

The vehicle, reportedly operated by GUO Transport, was said to be heading east when it was ambushed by armed men who opened fire on the driver, killing him on the spot before taking passengers away.
