President Tinubu holds strategic meeting with Senate leadership (video)

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu met with the leadership of the Nigerian Senate on Wednesday at the Aso Rock Villa in Abuja.

This was confirmed in a statment on Thursday by Special Adviser to the Presiden on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.

The Senate delegation, led by Senate President Godswill Akpabio, discussed critical national issues during the meeting, which resulted in significant decisions being made.

The statement from Onanuga noted that matters of urgent national importance were discussed and far-reaching decisions were taken at the meeting.

“President Tinubu met the extended leadership of the Senate on Wednesday at the Villa. According to Senate leader, Opeyemi Bamidele, far-reaching decisions were taken at this strategic meeting, which deliberated on matters of urgent national importance,” the presidential spokesperson wrote on X.
