‘Wilderness of Chaos’ to be launched at Wallsend Library May 30

‘Wilderness of Chaos‘, a satirical work of the author of SCARS DO HEAL, Káyòdé Akínrópò , which was released to the reading world in February 2026, is billed to be launched at the Wallsend Library & Hubs on Saturday, May 30.
The event is organised by the North Tyneside Council and Wallsend Library & Hubs.
It will take place on the First floor at the Ark Royal section behind the Library, The Forum, Wallsend, NE28 8JR, Newcastle.
Programme will commence by 10 am and end by 12 noon.
“We are delighted to welcome back local author Káyòdé Akínrópò for the launch of his new satirical thriller, Wilderness of Chaos.
“Signed copies will be available at a discounted price,” the organisers said in a public announcement.
Participants are also urged to arrive five minutes before the start time.

Káyòdé is a household name in Wallsend Library because there his first book was also presented.
He says ‘Wilderness of Chaos’ allowed him to explore darker, more complex territory.
According to him, “Wilderness of Chaos’ is not just about physical survival—it’s about confronting the chaos within us when the world stops making sense.”
His first novel, SCARS DO HEAL, published on 3rd December 2021 has enjoyed wide readership around the world. Two basic schools in Nigeria have also adopted it for their operations of literature-in-English curriculum.

The author, Káyòdé Akínrópò , is a teacher, writer, interpreter and consultant who was born and raised in Ìbàdàn, Ọ̀yọ́ State, Nigeria.
He lives with his supportive wife Iyabode in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. They are both blessed with two bright children, Olamide and Ifeoluwa.
He was a writer and English Language teacher in Lagos, Nigeria before moving to the UK in 2009.
