The semi-final of Britain’s Got Talent will begin this Saturday, featuring a performance by pop star Alexandra Burke. The former X Factor winner will perform a tribute to Chaka Khan, singing “I’m Every Woman” from The Chaka Khan Musical.
The first live show will also feature a range of acts competing for a place in the grand final.
Among those performing are the dog-dancing duo Anastasiia & Salsa, dance troupe Celtic Beat, and magician Fraser Penman. Other acts include singer Matty Juniosa, drummer Nancy Tilley, comedy songwriter Christy Coysh, aerialist Paul Nunnari, and the acrobatic group The Rafikiz.
Each act will be hoping to secure one of the two spots available in the final, with the winner receiving a £250,000 prize and a chance to perform at the Royal Variety Performance. The Golden Buzzer will also be available, allowing one act to earn an automatic place in the final.
The semi-final will air live on ITV1 and ITVX at 7pm this Saturday.
