Style, creativity and purpose took centre stage as Chidi-Nweloke Oscar, representing Enugu State, emerged winner of Mister Model Nigeria 2027 at the sixth edition of the Misters of Nigeria pageant held at the MUSON Centre, Lagos.
Popularly known as Scar, the fashion creative outshone other contestants with his commanding stage presence, originality and strong modeling appeal to clinch one of the night’s biggest titles.
Organisers said his blend of artistry, confidence and industry experience gave him an edge throughout the competition, making him a standout contender for the modeling-focused crown.
Drawing from years of experience in the fashion and creative space, Oscar impressed judges with a style that fused innovation with personality, reinforcing his reputation as more than just a runway talent.
Reacting after his victory, the newly crowned Mister Model Nigeria expressed gratitude to the organisers, judges and supporters for believing in him.
“This means so much to me. I’m deeply honoured to emerge as Mister Model Nigeria 2027. This is not just a personal victory, it is a win for creativity, purpose and everyone who has supported my journey,” he said.
“I want to thank the Misters of Nigeria platform for this opportunity, my Enugu supporters, my team, and everyone who has believed in the Scar brand. I’m ready to represent Nigeria proudly on the international stage.”
Beyond modeling, Oscar also drew attention to his advocacy project, T³ — Think, Touch, Transform, a Waste-to-Wealth initiative focused on sustainability, innovation and conscious living.
According to him, the project reflects his commitment to using creativity as a tool for social impact.
“Fashion should not just be about looking good; it should also create meaning and inspire change. T³ is my way of pushing that message,” he added.
With the victory, Oscar will now represent Nigeria at the Mister Model International competition in 2027, where he is expected to carry the country’s hopes on a global platform.
Pageant observers described his emergence as a reflection of the growing shift in male pageantry, where purpose, advocacy and innovation are becoming as important as physical appeal.
The Misters of Nigeria platform has continued to spotlight contestants who combine style with substance, and Oscar’s win appears to reinforce that direction.
For many at the event, his triumph was not only a celebration of fashion and individuality, but also the emergence of a creative talent poised for international relevance.
