Rashford seals Barcelona’s victory over Getafe

Despite missing star Lamine Yamal, whose season ended prematurely due to a hamstring injury, Barcelona continued to look dangerous. Rashford, starting on the bench, came on in the 60th minute to replace Roony Bardghji and quickly made an impact.
In the 74th minute, a brilliant ball from Robert Lewandowski sent Rashford racing through on goal. The England international showed great composure to finish past Getafe’s David Soria, sealing the victory for Barcelona.
Getafe, who are still vying for a European spot, pressed for an equaliser in the second half but couldn’t break down Barcelona’s defense. With this win, Barcelona now look set to lift another La Liga title, as they capitalise on Real Madrid’s 1-1 draw with Real Betis the previous night.
