Davido calls out Gboyega Oyetola over Osun gubernatorial election

Nigerian singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido has called out the current minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Gboyega Oyetola, over an unknown alleged plan.

Davido, via his X handle on Tuesday, fired at Oyetola, stating that he is a desperate politician. He revealed went on to state that the former former governor of Osun State has been embarrassing, stating that his plan will not work

“The most desperate politician in the world is @GboyegaOyetola very embarrassing. Oyetola your plan no go work,” he wrote.

Although the singer did not give details on the alleged plan, reports that this is coming amid the political tension in Osun state ahead of the forthcoming governorship election on August 15, 2026.
