University shaped my career- Davido speaks on importance of education

Afrobeats singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has spoken on the importance of education despite having a successful career as a musician.

The artist, while speaking during a visit to his alma mater Babcock University in Osun State, revealed that getting an education helped shape his career.

The bragged about his degree, noting that not everyone who starts out in school gets to graduate.

“Babcock University shaped my career. I always brag to colleagues that I went to school and graduated. Not everyone who started school got to finish,” he said.

The 33-year-old artist graduated with a degree from the musical department of Babcock University.
