According to SIMPLAA, Port Harcourt’s increasing commercial activities, daily commuting demands, airport transfers, nightlife, and business movement have created the need for smarter and more reliable transportation solutions.

SIMPLAA, a United Kingdom-rooted mobility platform, has launched a major urban mobility campaign in Port Harcourt as part of efforts to redefine transportation convenience, safety, and accessibility in the city.

The company said the initiative aligns with its broader vision of transforming how residents experience movement in rapidly growing Nigerian cities.

According to SIMPLAA, Port Harcourt’s increasing commercial activities, daily commuting demands, airport transfers, nightlife, and business movement have created the need for smarter and more reliable transportation solutions.

The company stated that its approach goes beyond simply connecting riders with drivers, noting that modern urban mobility must focus on delivering convenience, transparency, reliability, and technology-driven experiences tailored to everyday lifestyles.

Speaking on the development, SIMPLAA’s Head of Operations Mr. Conscience said the company introduced the campaign to improve transportation standards and reshape expectations around mobility services in Nigeria.

“Urban mobility is becoming a bigger part of how people experience their cities every day,” he said.

“People are no longer just looking for transportation. They want convenience, reliability, safety, transparency, and technology that actually works for their lifestyle.”

As part of the campaign, SIMPLAA announced an introductory offer that gives new users access to up to three free rides worth ₦5,000 after downloading the SIMPLAA app and using the promo code “SIMPLAARIDE.”

The company explained that the campaign combines digital advertising, social media engagement, roadshows, lifestyle-focused storytelling, and on-ground activations targeting professionals, students, entrepreneurs, travellers, and regular commuters across Port Harcourt.

SIMPLAA also noted that users can access the offer by downloading the app, registering an account, entering the promo code, and booking rides directly through the platform.

The company maintained that beyond the promotional campaign, its long-term focus remains centred on dependable ride availability, verified drivers, transparent pricing systems, and improved movement across major parts of the city.

SIMPLAA further stated that its expansion strategy positions the brand beyond the traditional ride-hailing model by integrating transportation into broader travel and lifestyle experiences.

According to the company, its growing portfolio of strategic partnerships reflects its ambition to build a more connected mobility ecosystem.

One of such partnerships, SIMPLAA disclosed, is its collaboration with Air Peace, where the company currently provides premium airport transfer services for First and Business Class passengers travelling on the airline’s London operations.

The company explained that eligible passengers receive complimentary chauffeur-driven airport transfers across Heathrow, Gatwick, Lagos, and Abuja as part of efforts to create a seamless travel experience from departure to final destination.

Mr. Conscience said the partnership reflects the future direction of global urban mobility systems.

“Transportation is becoming more connected,” he stated.

“People want a seamless journey from the moment they leave home to when they arrive at their final destination. That is the future mobility companies must prepare for.”

SIMPLAA also pointed to changing realities within Nigeria’s transportation sector, noting that user experience, operational efficiency, strategic partnerships, and reliability now play increasingly important roles in determining customer loyalty and competitiveness.

The company described Port Harcourt as a strategic test market for its broader vision of technology-driven and lifestyle-focused urban mobility solutions.

SIMPLAA added that as competition continues to intensify within Nigeria’s mobility ecosystem, the future will favour platforms capable of combining technology, trust, convenience, and integrated transportation experiences.

Reaffirming its message to residents, the company urged commuters across Port Harcourt to embrace smarter mobility solutions through its platform.

“Download. Ride. Move. SIMPLAA,” the company stated.
