Daniel Etim Effiong speaks on how to approach infidelity

Nollywood actor and producer Daniel Etim Effiong has shared his opinion on people in relationships should approach infidelity.

The actor, while speaking media personality Ife Agoro, explained that infidelity should be treated with a compassionate approach. He stressed that dwelling only on personal pain would not resolve the situation and added that genuine love does not prioritise self-interest.

“So I think your approach your approach first should just be like if someone messes up in a in a marriage it should you should first come from a place of how can I help you that should be the approach. How can I help you out of this problem? It’s first of all to deal, you have to come out of this problem that you are in first because it’s a problem. Yes. If you cheat on me, you’re in a problem. How can you come out of this problem? How can I help you get out of this thing you’re in and then come so that we can talk about us and we can start healing,” he stated.

Daniel also that he believes true love is not self- seeking, adding that dwelling only on personal pain would not resolve the situation

“Why you solving your problem? Solve his problem. Get him out of the problem. You guys come together and you deal with your problem together. Love is not self-seeking. I know it’s a hard thing to think about. I know. I know it’s hard to think about, but think about it that way. Don’t be self-seeking about it,” he added.
