Goalkeeper Francis Uzoho, Chibuike Nwaiwu and striker Rafiu Durosinmi were the latest arrivals as preparations intensified for Nigeria’s upcoming semi-final encounter against Zimbabwe.

Earlier, 14 players had already reported to camp on Saturday, allowing the coaching crew to begin work ahead of the important fixture.

Under the guidance of head coach Éric Chelle, the team conducted their first training session at Cray Valley FC, Middle Park Avenue, London.

The session focused on improving fitness levels, tactical organisation and helping the players adapt quickly after arriving from their respective clubs.

The technical crew is expected to continue assessing the players in camp while waiting for more arrivals before finalising plans for the game.

The players reportedly showed good energy and commitment during the opening training session, with team officials optimistic about building a competitive squad for the tournament.

Nigeria will hold another training session later in the day as preparations continue.

The Super Eagles are scheduled to face Zimbabwe in their Unity Cup semi-final match at The Valley in London on Tuesday. Supporters will be hoping the team delivers a strong performance and secures a place in the final of the competition.
