How Lifestyle PR Helped Me Build Trust, Visibility and Influence – Ayobami Eruobami

Quick Read

For the past five years, Lifestyle PR has been the driving force behind the growth of my personal brand and the visibility of my companies, Erumedia Group and Pressford. It has shaped how people perceive me, how brands relate to me, and ultimately why many clients choose to work with me and my firm.

In today’s digital age, people no longer buy into businesses alone; they buy into personalities, lifestyles, perception, and authenticity. Over the years, I have come to understand that Lifestyle PR is one of the most powerful tools in modern communication, beyond traditional corporate messaging.

For the past five years, Lifestyle PR has been the driving force behind the growth of my personal brand and the visibility of my companies, Erumedia Group and Pressford. It has shaped how people perceive me, how brands relate to me, and ultimately why many clients choose to work with me and my firm.

Many people hear the term “Lifestyle PR” and immediately think of luxury, fashion, or social media aesthetics. But for me, it goes far beyond appearances. Lifestyle PR is about managing perception through everyday living. It involves intentionally communicating credibility, ambition, confidence, growth, and influence through the lifestyle people consistently see around you.

In business, trust is everything. Before clients pay for a service, they first buy into the person behind the brand. They observe how you speak, how you present yourself, the environments you move in, the quality of your network, your consistency, and even how you live your daily life online.

I realized this very early in my journey.

Many of the clients who work with me today were first attracted not necessarily by advertisements, but by perception. They saw a lifestyle that reflected structure, exposure, professionalism, visibility, and growth. That perception gave them confidence that I could properly represent their brands and manage their reputations professionally.

People naturally trust what appears credible.

Over the years, I have discovered that lifestyle content creates emotional connections faster than corporate communication alone. While Corporate PR establishes authority, Lifestyle PR creates relatability and aspiration. It humanizes the brand owner and makes the business feel more accessible.

This strategy has significantly contributed to the positioning of Erumedia Group as a modern communications brand focused on public relations, media visibility, online reputation, and influence management. It has also helped Pressford grow into a platform associated with visibility, digital positioning, and strategic media communication.

For me, Lifestyle PR is not about pretending to be perfect or living unrealistically. It is about intentionally curating a public image that aligns with the level of trust, excellence, and professionalism you want your audience to associate with your brand.

In today’s business environment, perception influences opportunity. Investors, clients, collaborators, and even media platforms often respond first to visibility and presentation before discovering competence. While competence remains essential, visibility opens the door.

This is why I strongly believe entrepreneurs, founders, creatives, and communication professionals should pay closer attention to how they position themselves publicly. Your lifestyle, online presence, communication style, and personal image have become part of your business assets.

For me, Lifestyle PR has not only served as a branding strategy; it has also become a growth strategy. It has helped me attract opportunities, build trust, expand influence, and create stronger emotional connections with clients and audiences across different industries.

As communication continues to evolve globally, one thing remains clear: people connect with people before they connect with companies. In many ways, Lifestyle PR has become the bridge between visibility, trust, and business growth.
