PSC spokesperson, Torty Njoku Kalu, described the list currently circulating on social media as fake and urged applicants to ignore it.

According to him, the commission has not yet released any list of successful candidates for medical examinations because the evaluation of the written examination is still being completed.

Successful applicants, he said, will be notified through official channels, including email, SMS, the recruitment portal, and other verified PSC communication platforms.

Kalu advised applicants and members of the public to be wary of fraudsters and fake information circulating online. He stressed that all official updates regarding the recruitment process will only be released through the commission’s approved communication channels.

The PSC also reaffirmed its commitment to a merit-based recruitment process, noting that it has consistently upheld transparency and fairness in its recruitment exercises.

According to the commission, the effectiveness and efficiency of the Nigeria Police Force depend largely on the quality of personnel recruited into the system.

The commission further reminded applicants that the recruitment exercise is completely free and that no payment is required at any stage of the process.
