England have arrived in the United States to begin preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Head coach Thomas Tuchel and several members of his squad flew from Birmingham to Florida on Monday for a training camp in West Palm Beach.
Some players, including Declan Rice, Noni Madueke, Eberechi Eze, Bukayo Saka, and Crystal Palace goalkeeper Dean Henderson, will join the team later because they recently played in European club finals.
England will hold their first training session on Tuesday, with temperatures expected to range between 28°C and 31°C.
The team will play two warm-up matches before the World Cup begins. They face New Zealand on June 6 and Costa Rica on June 10. The tournament officially starts on June 11.
After the Florida camp, England will move to their World Cup training base in Kansas City, Missouri.
With limited time between the end of the domestic football season and the start of the World Cup, Tuchel encouraged his players to spend part of their holidays in the United States or the Caribbean to adjust to the heat and time differences.
England will begin their World Cup campaign against Croatia on June 17 in Dallas, Texas. They will then play Ghana on June 23 in Massachusetts and Panama on June 27 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
Tuchel has also invited several young Premier League players to train with the squad in Florida, including Alex Scott, Rio Ngumoha, Josh King, and Ethan Nwaneri. Brighton goalkeeper Jason Steele, who has not yet played for England, is also part of the group.
