I celebrate when people get divorced – Bovi reveals

Nigerian stand-up comedian, Bovi Ugboma, has spoken on marriage and divorce, revealing that he celebrates when he hears news of a divorce.

While speaking during the recent episode of The Morayo Show, Bovi explained the reason for his celebration over divorces, stating that he believes that at least one of the partners was going through difficult times in the marriage.

He added that divorce serves as a form of relief for such partners which grants him some form of happiness. Bovi noted that he prefers divorce over toxicity in marriages.

“I celebrate when people get divorced because I feel it means one or both people were not breathing well in the marriage. I will not suffer anybody neither will I want anybody to suffer me. That is not to say my marriage has been easy for 17 years. It has not. I got married at 29. I have been providing for 17 years nonstop,” he stated.
