Why I don’t chase international shows — Shatta Wale explains

Ghanaian musician Shatta Wale has spoken on his career growth as a Ghanaian artist, explaining that Ghana played the biggest role in his financial success.

While speaking about growth and success, the artist revealed that he became wealthy through the opportunities and respect he receives in the country.

He also revealed that he has always seen himself as an international star and believes he can earn as much as $1 million in Ghana because of the country’s strong appreciation for music and entertainment.

“I’ve always seen myself as this international star that you know I just need to work on my stuff. I can get paid 1million dollars in Ghana. I didn’t get rich anywhere, I got rich in Ghana,” he said.

He also disclosed that he enjoys immense respect from political leaders, ministers, event organisers and fans across the country.
