Nollywood actress Nancy Isime shared memories about her late colleague Alex Ekubo during his service of songs, stirring reactions from fans.

The actress, while speaking at the event, described Alex as a lively person with a ‘bad mouth’.

“And one thing nobody has really mentioned here is his bad mouth. Alex had bad mouth. He used to call me old 20 naira, the oldest. Even when I started to make money and look new, he said no, you are still old 20 naira”, she stated

Isime stressed that Alex was very humourous, adding that he always found a way to tease people and get into a banter.

“Once you put a camera on his face, you must make sure he yabs you. And you can never out yab Alex. Never. He had the biggest heart. He loved to give. Even if the only thing he could give you is the meat in his food, he will give it to you,” adding that he would still joke about it afterward. Alex was a big part of Nollywood. He came and he dominated. His performances are something to always look forward to”, Isime added.
