Nigerian comedian and actor Chibunna Stanley, popularly known as Funnybone has spoken on the need for women to guard their minds against certain media influence.
Funnybone, while speaking via his Instagram page, encouraged women to be intentional about the content they consume online. He argued that the unpleasant experiences of others should not be used as a yardstick for judging men who have not yet become part of their lives.
“Dear young lady, Curate your algorithm. Stop feeding your mind with content that constantly triggers pain, fear, and resentment. Don’t let other people’s experiences shape how you view a man who hasn’t even entered your life yet. Consume content that inspires growth, healing, and emotional maturity. Your story can be different, and your experience can be beautiful. Don’t worry, your own journey can be better. Be easy, your story will be different and better”, he wrote.
