Police prosecutors also told the court that on March 14, 2026, the TikToker allegedly released another video containing derogatory comments and accusations, insinuating that the widow was involved in a concealed agenda concerning her late husband's affairs.

A Lagos Magistrate Court sitting in Ikeja has remanded a popular TikTok content creator, Oladimeji Hammed, widely known as Immunizer, over allegations of cyberbullying and online harassment directed at Mrs. Omowunmi Cynthia Aloba, the widow of late Nigerian music star, Mohbad.

The 27-year-old social media influencer was arraigned on a six-count charge filed by the Commissioner of Police, accusing him of using various online platforms to publish harmful, insulting and provocative content against the 26-year-old widow.

Hammed pleaded not guilty to all the charges when they were read before the court.

Despite the plea, the court ordered his remand but granted him bail under stringent conditions. The bail terms require two sureties, each of whom must provide proof of a bank account balance of at least ₦700,000. One surety must be a serving state civil servant, while the other must be a blood relative. Both are also required to present evidence of up-to-date tax compliance.

The matter was subsequently adjourned for further hearing.

According to the prosecution, the alleged cyberbullying campaign began on February 8, 2026, when Hammed reportedly published a social media post alleging that Omowunmi was planning to leave Nigeria before justice could be served in connection with her husband’s death. The post allegedly contained her passport photograph.

The prosecution further alleged that on February 11, the defendant shared another post suggesting that the widow had failed to deny allegations of infidelity during court proceedings.

Eight days later, on February 19, Hammed was accused of publishing content claiming that private materials belonging to Omowunmi had been leaked online.

Police prosecutors also told the court that on March 14, 2026, the TikToker allegedly released another video containing derogatory comments and accusations, insinuating that the widow was involved in a concealed agenda concerning her late husband’s affairs.

The prosecution maintained that between February 8 and March 14, Hammed consistently disseminated abusive, insulting and provocative communications targeted at Omowunmi, exposing her to public ridicule, online trolling, hatred and threats.

Prosecutors further alleged that the online attacks contributed to an incident on March 15 when the widow was publicly confronted and nearly physically assaulted by members of the public.

The final charge accuses the defendant of publishing nude images and other harmful content allegedly intended to humiliate and bully her.

The case once again draws attention to the intense scrutiny and online harassment that Omowunmi has faced since the death of her husband, Mohbad, on September 12, 2023.

Although she has not been charged in connection with the singer’s death, she has remained the subject of persistent speculation and social media attacks as investigations into the circumstances surrounding the tragedy continue.

Authorities have already filed criminal charges against auxiliary nurse Feyisayo Ogedengbe and Mohbad’s friend, Ayobami Sadiq, over allegations of reckless and negligent acts linked to the events preceding the singer’s death. Both defendants are currently standing trial, with prosecutors alleging that Ogedengbe administered an injection to the singer without proper medical authorisation shortly before his death.
