Taylor Swift’s wedding dress details emerge ahead of reported Travis Kelce Marriage

American pop superstar Taylor Swift is reportedly preparing to wear multiple outfits for her anticipated wedding to NFL star Travis Kelce.

The 36-year-old Grammy-winning singer is said to be planning a lavish wedding weekend in New York City, with reports claiming the ceremony could take place on July 3, during the Fourth of July holiday period.

According to Page Six, several custom dresses have already been made for Swift to choose from ahead of the event.

Designers Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia, founders of New York-based fashion label Monse, are reportedly among those being considered for the wedding looks.

Kim and Garcia recently exited their roles as co-creative directors of Oscar de la Renta in February. Swift has had a long fashion relationship with the Oscar de la Renta brand and has worn its designs to major public events.

The singer also wore Oscar de la Renta for her Eras Tour costumes and previously stunned in one of the brand’s gowns at the wedding of her close friend, Selena Gomez.

Reports say Swift may not attend regular fittings at a fashion house. Instead, designers are expected to work with a mannequin made to her exact measurements to protect the secrecy around the outfits.

The Daily Mail also reported that Swift’s wedding dress may draw inspiration from Hollywood icon Elizabeth Taylor’s 1950 wedding gown to Conrad Hilton.

A source claimed Swift became fascinated with Elizabeth Taylor’s style while working on visuals connected to her 2025 album, The Life Of A Showgirl, which includes a song titled “Elizabeth Taylor.”

The insider said Swift admired the old-fashioned waistline and lace detailing of Taylor’s gown.

There are also claims that Swift may consider wearing a piece of jewellery connected to Elizabeth Taylor’s estate, although no official confirmation has been given.

The wedding itself is expected to be a major celebrity event.

Reports claim Swift and Kelce may host two gatherings at Madison Square Garden in New York City — a smaller private celebration on July 2 and a bigger event on July 3.

The New York Times reported that about 100 close friends and family members may attend the first event, while the larger celebration could host around 1,000 guests.

Permits have reportedly been filed for street closures around Madison Square Garden from July 2 to midday July 4, adding to speculation that the venue will host a major Swift-related event.

Several Kansas City Chiefs players are also said to have booked rooms in New York around the same dates.

Swift and Kelce have reportedly taken strong steps to keep details of the wedding private. Guests are said to have been asked to sign nondisclosure agreements before receiving full information about the venue and arrangements.

Some guests may also be barred from bringing plus-ones, according to reports.

Swift and Kelce went public with their relationship in 2023 after the singer attended a Kansas City Chiefs game.

They announced their engagement in September 2025 with a joint Instagram post, joking that “your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”

Neither Swift nor Kelce has officially confirmed the reported wedding venue, dress designers, or final guest list.
