The party said it had not released any official list of successful aspirants and warned members, stakeholders and the general public against relying on unauthorised publications.
The disclaimer was contained in a public notice signed by the APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, and shared on the party’s official X account.
According to the ruling party, any report or publication claiming to announce the outcome of the primaries is false and should be disregarded.
“The public is therefore advised to disregard any publication or report purporting to announce the outcome of the primaries, as such information is false and unauthorised,” the statement read.
APC said successful aspirants would be formally notified through the party’s official channels before Certificates of Return are issued.
“Successful candidates would be formally notified through the party’s official channels, after which Certificates of Return would be issued in line with established procedures,” the notice added.
The party urged its members and the public to rely only on official APC communication channels for updates on the outcome of its primary elections.
The warning comes amid growing political activity ahead of the 2027 general elections, with parties expected to manage internal contests and candidate selection processes.
