Popular media personality and Big Brother Naija host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, and his wife, Cynthia Obi-Uchendu, are expecting their third child.
Cynthia announced the pregnancy on Instagram on Sunday, sharing maternity photos and reflecting on her journey into motherhood again after seven years.
“Yup! Seven years later and we’re here again,” she wrote, noting that the new pregnancy has come 10 years after her first experience as a mother.
Cynthia said the journey has reminded her that every pregnancy comes with its own experience, regardless of how many times a woman has gone through it.
She expressed gratitude to God for guiding her through what she described as an emotional and demanding journey.
The expectant mother also explained why the third pregnancy feels special to her, saying she has always believed that meaningful things often come in threes.
She linked the moment to the idea of completeness, family, and faith, adding that the “third time” may truly be a charm.
Cynthia also praised her daughters, Jewel and Rubi, for their excitement about welcoming a new sibling.
She further appreciated Ebuka for standing by her throughout the pregnancy, joking that he may have thought he was done with changing diapers.
“I know you thought you were done changing diapers,” she teased.
Ebuka and Cynthia got engaged in April 2015 and tied the knot on February 6, 2016.
The couple currently have two daughters, Jewel and Rubi.
