Primate Elijah Ayodele, has gifted a fully furnished house, seven vehicles, and several empowerment packages to members and supporters of his ministry during the church's 2026 mid-year thanksgiving programme held on Sunday, June 28.

The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has gifted a fully furnished house, seven vehicles, and several empowerment packages to members and supporters of his ministry during the church’s 2026 mid-year thanksgiving programme held on Sunday, June 28.

The event, which attracted hundreds of worshippers and guests, left many beneficiaries in shock as they received life-changing gifts they never anticipated.

Although the cleric is widely known for his philanthropic activities and support for the less privileged, the scale of this year’s empowerment programme surpassed expectations, with beneficiaries ranging from church members and pastors to widows, students, traders, and the elderly.

One of the most emotional moments of the event involved a church member who attended the Thanksgiving service with his wife in a modest car, unaware that he would leave with the keys to a brand-new Toyota SUV.

Primate Ayodele first tested the couple by requesting a small donation to the church. After they willingly complied, the prophet returned the money, added more to it, and then surprised them with the new vehicle.

The couple struggled to contain their emotions as they received the unexpected gift amid cheers from members of the congregation.

Another beneficiary, who is not a full member of the church but has maintained a longstanding relationship with the ministry, also experienced a dramatic turn of events.

The individual had received a car from Primate Ayodele years earlier. During Sunday’s programme, the cleric called him out from the congregation and requested the keys to his vehicle.

Without hesitation, the young man handed over the keys, after which Primate Ayodele instructed that the car be given to another member of the church as an empowerment gift.

Moments later, the prophet surprised him with the keys to a newer Toyota vehicle, leaving him and members of the congregation visibly astonished.

The empowerment initiative also extended to church leaders, with two pastors receiving brand-new vehicles. One was presented with a Mercedes-Benz, while another received a Lexus SUV in recognition of their service to the ministry.

In addition to the outright gifts, Primate Ayodele introduced an empowerment raffle aimed at supporting members financially.

Participants who contributed N1 million each were entered into a draw to win vehicles valued at approximately N7 million. Four individuals eventually emerged as winners and received different cars during the programme.

The biggest surprise of the day, however, came when the cleric honoured the church’s second-in-command with the Certificate of Occupancy (C of O) for a fully furnished house in Lagos.

The announcement drew loud reactions from the congregation, with many members expressing disbelief at the magnitude of the gift.

Beyond the presentation of houses and vehicles, the prophet continued his popular subsidy market initiative to cushion the effects of economic hardship on members and residents.

Under the programme, a bag of rice was sold for N30,000, cartons of Indomie noodles went for N4,000, while loaves of bread were made available for N1,500, alongside several other essential commodities at discounted prices.

Students from various schools across Lagos State also benefited from the initiative, while widows, elderly persons, traders, church workers, and other vulnerable groups received financial assistance and empowerment support.

Many beneficiaries described the occasion as a life-changing experience and expressed gratitude to the cleric for his generosity.

For several members of the church, June 28, 2026, will remain a memorable date, with many saying it was the day they received unexpected blessings through the ministry of Primate Elijah Ayodele.
