‘Of Course, it’s Kim’: Hamilton makes rare comment on Kardashian romance

Formula 1 star, Lewis Hamilton, has made a rare public comment about his relationship with Kim Kardashian, admitting that she is part of the reason he appears happier this year.

The Ferrari driver spoke during a fan event at Silverstone ahead of the British Grand Prix, where he was asked about his improved mood both on and off the track.

Broadcaster David Croft told Hamilton that he looked like a much happier man this year, drawing cheers from the crowd.

A fellow racing driver then jokingly asked whether the change was because of a fast car or a new girlfriend.

Hamilton smiled as the audience laughed.

“Yeah, that’s a good one,” he said.

Croft also joked about Kardashian’s appearance at the Monaco Grand Prix, referring to an incident where she reportedly used a towel reserved for Kimi Antonelli.

Hamilton then spoke about his first year with Ferrari, praising the team for welcoming him and helping him settle into one of the most iconic names in motorsport.

“Once you spend a year with this team, Ferrari is still the most iconic team of all time, and they’ve had a difficult period of time,” he said.

“It’s such an amazing team and they’ve been so welcoming. The first year was obviously very tough but to finally see the hard work we’re all putting in, it’s finally getting us back to where we want to be.”

Then came the line that sent fans into excitement.

“And of course, of course, it’s Kim,” Hamilton added.

The crowd immediately cheered, as the remark appeared to be one of Hamilton’s clearest public acknowledgements yet of Kardashian’s role in his life.

Hamilton, 41, and Kardashian, 45, have been romantically linked since February.

The rumours grew stronger in May when the reality star and businesswoman attended the Monaco Grand Prix, where Hamilton finished second.

At the podium, Hamilton was seen blowing a quick kiss to Kardashian, who attended the race with her sister, Khloé Kardashian.

After the race, Hamilton praised Kardashian’s presence and support.

“It’s amazing to have her come this weekend and have the support,” he said at the time.

“But, you know, with my friends, incredible turnout, just overall, the people. It’s amazing to have good people around you and good people supporting you and she does that for me every day.”

Reports have also claimed that Kardashian and Hamilton are enjoying an easy and relaxed relationship.

A source was quoted as saying the pair feel like they have been together for years and that their bond is helped by the fact that they already knew each other before the romance began.

The insider also said they align in ambition, life goals and the desire to keep things simple.

Hamilton’s latest comment has now added more fuel to the romance talk, especially because the seven-time world champion rarely speaks openly about his private life.

For Kardashian, who has lived much of her personal life in the public eye, the attention is nothing new.

But for Hamilton, the brief comment at Silverstone was enough to make fans believe the romance is becoming harder to hide.

The Ferrari star may still be focused on returning to the top of Formula 1, but his own words have now made one thing clear: Kim Kardashian is part of what is making him smile this season.
