NYSC Osun to host 2026 Corps Employers’ Workshop across 4 zones

The Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has approved the conduct of the 2026 Corps Employers’ Workshop in all the states under the South-West Area Office I on Tuesday, 14th July 2026.
Consequently, the NYSC Osun State Secretariat will host the workshop simultaneously across its four zonal offices in Osogbo, Ilesa, Ife and Ikirun as part of the Scheme’s nationwide stakeholders’ engagement programme.
This was made known in a press release on Tuesday signed on behalf of the State Coordinator, Mr. Ekeng Ita Kubiangha, by the Scheme’s state Public Relations Officer, Catherine Otemuyiwa.
According to the release, the workshop, themed “Fine-tuning Stakeholders’ Collaboration for Enhanced Corps Members’ Welfare and Workplace Experience,” is aimed at strengthening collaboration between the NYSC and Corps Employers towards improving the welfare, supervision, security and workplace experience of corps members.
The release listed the following as venues where the workshop will hold simultaneously in Osun State:
– Osogbo Zone: Atlantis Event Centre, beside NASFAT, Osogbo.
– Ilesa Zone: Ilesa East Local Government Secretariat, Ilesa.
– Ife Zone: Ife City Hall, Ile-Ife.
– Ikirun Zone: Ifelodun Local Government Secretariat, Ikirun.
The opening ceremony at the Osogbo Zonal Centre, Atlantis Event Centre, will be officially declared open by the Chairman of the NYSC Osun State Governing Board and Commissioner for Youth Affairs, Hon. Olagunju Moshood Olalekan, while the Director-General’s keynote address will be delivered by the representative of the South-West Area Office I.
The Osogbo Zonal Centre is expected to host about 400 participants, while the workshops in Ilesa, Ife and Ikirun Zones will each accommodate about 200 participants, bringing the total expected attendance to approximately 1,000 participants.
Attendees will include Corps Employers from the public and private sectors, government officials, NYSC staff and corps members.

The NYSC Osun State Coordinator, Mr Kubiangha called on all invited corps employers and relevant stakeholders to attend and actively participate in the workshop, noting that their invaluable contributions will further strengthen the attainment of the objectives of the NYSC Scheme in Osun State.
“The National Youth Service Corps remains committed to fostering effective collaboration with stakeholders in promoting national unity, youth development and quality service delivery,” the release added.
