Vector reveals how he found his ‘super homely’ wife in a nightclub

Nigerian rapper, Olanrewaju Ogunmefun, known popularly by his stage name Vector Tha Viper, has spoken about his marriage, explaining that stereotypes can be misleading.

While speaking with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and Banky W on the MENtality podcast, Vector revealed that he met his wife, Yinka Coker, at the club.

He argued that it is not necessary to follow societal standards or every advice when choosing a life partner, especially as regards to meeting places.

“I met my woman in the club. You will not believe she is super homely. Who would have thought? What was the first attraction? She was rapping Heavy D. So, you can’t take advice when it comes to a life partner. The typical advice that I heard before then was that there were no good women in the club. I am not saying you shouldn’t take any advice, you can have a few people who give you good counsel then on your own, you can decide what works for you,” he stated.

The duo got married in a civil ceremony in December 2022. They have a daughter together.
