Be hopeful in spite of life’s challenges – Okonkwo tells youths

Nollywood actress Rachael Okonkwo has urged young Nigerians to remain hopeful despite difficult circumstance. The actress and author, while speaking during an event in Lagos, recalled her journey, explaining that she had an humble beginning in the film industry.

Okonkwo also expressed her gratitude and and pride in her journey, urging the youths to take a cue from her story and be inspired by her journey.

“I feel proud of myself. I’m glad I’ve come this far, and I’m happy to have written something that will inspire, encourage and motivate women to keep believing in themselves, no matter what they are going through or where they come from. I want everyone who reads this book to leave feeling encouraged and empowered.  I want this book to remind them that the future is still bright and that they can rise above every setback,” she said.
