Diddy in fresh trouble after violent prison fight

American music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs has reportedly been placed in solitary confinement after fighting with another inmate at a federal prison in New Jersey.

The altercation allegedly occurred this week inside the Federal Correctional Institution, Fort Dix, where Combs is serving his sentence.

Sources familiar with the incident said tensions escalated after the unidentified inmate insulted Combs, prompting the rapper to confront him.

The inmates reportedly pushed each other and exchanged punches before prison officers intervened and separated them.

Sources claimed Combs “held his own” during the confrontation, which was brought under control before it could escalate further.

Combs was reportedly taken immediately to solitary confinement, commonly called “the hole,” following the incident. It remained unclear whether he was still being held there on Friday morning.

The alleged fight could also bring further disciplinary action against the rapper and potentially affect his scheduled release from prison.

Combs is currently expected to be released in February 2028, but that date assumes he continues earning credits for good behaviour.

If prison officials conclude that he initiated or played a major role in the confrontation, he could lose some of those credits and remain in custody beyond his present release date.

Responding to questions about the alleged incident, a representative of FCI Fort Dix said the prison was not permitted to disclose internal information concerning inmates in its custody.

The Federal Bureau of Prisons also declined to comment, citing privacy, safety and security restrictions governing disciplinary matters involving individual inmates.
