Actress criticized by Ngozi Ezeonu for braless outfit at audition speaks out

One of the actresses criticized by veteran Nollywood actress Ngozi Ezeonu for appearing braless at an audition has spoken out about the repercussions she faced following the public incident.

Ezeonu recently took to social media to reprimand two young women for what she described as inappropriate dressing on her audition set.

The actress expressed disappointment, stating, “Who are you trying to impress? That’s why people see us as unserious. I’m a serious-minded actor; you can’t catch me dressed like this, even when I was your age.”

Responding to the criticism, one of the women involved shared her side of the story on social media.

She explained that she and her friend had not intended to attend the audition but had dressed casually to eat at the restaurant where the auditions were taking place.

Upon learning about the audition, they decided to give it a shot, unaware their attire would cause controversy.

The lady revealed that the public backlash extended to her home, where her father, upset by the viral video, slapped her for what he described as disgracing the family.
