Florida Senator Marco Rubio has officially been sworn in as the next U.S. Secretary of State after receiving Senate confirmation late Monday.
This makes him the first member of President Trump’s cabinet to secure congressional approval.

He will oversee over 70,000 federal employees within the U.S. Department of State.
