President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Dr Ikye Orikpo from Delta State as the new Chairman of the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital.
The announcement was made earlier today alongside the unveiling of other board chairpersons.
The Presidency also issued clarifications regarding the list of board appointments to address some discrepancies.
According to the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Hon. Duro Meseko from Kogi State has been confirmed as the Chairman of the Nigerian Building and Road Research Institute, rectifying an earlier duplication.
Additionally, Hon. Yahaya Bello Wurno from Sokoto State, not Ambassador Wurno, has been named Chairman of the Sokoto-Rima River Basin Development Authority.
The Presidency regrets the mix-up in the initial announcement and has assured Nigerians of its commitment to clarity and transparency in public communications.
